Lizelle and Rudolf were on the red carpet at The Hermitage Museum Hotel in St Petersburg in Russia in July for the 2019 World Luxury Restaurant Awards Gala Ceremony. Serendipity received two World Luxury Restaurant Awards for 2019: Global Winner South African Cuisine and Country Winner Fine Dining.

The executive chef, Lizelle Stolze is crowned with numerous awards and qualifications. Apart from excellent local and international experience Lizelle is a dux Cum laude student of Prue Leith Academy of Food and Wine where she gained top honours as a student. She has also lectured at Prue Leith Academy of Food and Wine as a professional lecturer. She is a Fellow Member of the South African Chefs Association and a Honoraire Culinaire of the Chaine des Rotisseurs.
